Welcome to Montpellier FC

Montpellier Football Club was founded in 2021 by two lifelong friends with a simple but ambitious belief: grassroots football could be done differently.

The modern game at ground level has shifted. Clubs increasingly find themselves in survival mode — chasing finances rather than impact, managing budgets rather than building communities. We wanted no part of that cycle.

From day one, Montpellier FC was built around something bigger than results. A real community club, on and off the pitch — developing players and people, supporting local causes, and laying foundations designed to grow with the community around us.

That vision has taken root. Backed by brilliant coaches and local partners, we've grown from a single team into a club that's collected multiple league and cup wins across both senior and youth football, and secured our home at Priors Farm — our clubhouse, our base, our heartbeat.

Our youth section, launched in 2023/24, has expanded rapidly to welcome players from U8 through to U17. In 2025/26, our first girls' team joined the fold — and that same year, our founding generation of youth players made the step up into senior football. Watching that happen never gets old.

It's been a journey — fast, proud, and full of moments we'll never forget. But this is still the beginning.
